Welcome from the Headteacher
Hello! My name is Judy Goldsmith and I am the Headteacher of Guilden Morden School. I’d like to welcome you to our school website which provides comprehensive information about life at our school. Guilden Morden Primary School is a small Church School which is very much at the heart of the local community. Visitors to the school often comment on the friendly welcoming atmosphere and this is something we pride ourselves on. Although the school is growing we remain small enough to know and care about each individual and as Headteacher I am committed to working with the staff, pupils and parents to ensure that everybody within it is able to flourish and develop as a learner.
Since I joined the school in 2008, the school population has increased and the school has shown a steady upward trend in pupils’ achievement and attainment. In 2011, Ofsted noted “The school is outstanding in the care, support and guidance it provides for individuals. It is highly effective in helping pupils to overcome any barriers to learning. It works closely with families in this, intent on ensuring that pupils thrive at school and become successful learners.”
We are committed to working in partnership and welcome constructive dialogue with all stakeholders to help us continue to move the school forward to become even stronger. If, after visiting our website, you have any comments or queries, please do not hesitate to contact me by email: email@example.com or by telephone on 01763 852318.

We will provide a happy, positive, creative learning environment for all children and staff in line with the Every Child Matters agenda.
We aim to encourage all children to be independent learners and to take responsibility for their learning in order for them to achieve their full potential.
We aim for every child to be literate and numerate.
We will provide a safe supportive environment where children and adults feel confident to challenge themselves.
We will provide an inclusive education where all children are valued for their individuality.
